To cut a long story short I went into hospital on January 27th for a craniotomy to be done on the 28th. The surgery took longer than expected and I had a bigger scar than I had expected, 30 staples across the top of my head. However, 26hours after surgery I was back home with my family, something I am pretty proud of!
First diagnosis was a grade II oligodendroglioma but after seeing the oncologist 4 days later a different diagnosis had come back from a seperate lab in Cambridge making it a grade III - big difference!
I have to go and have mask made and more scans before I start radiotherapy on our return from Stockholm.
Its all been a bit of a bad dream except theres no happy ending to this one.
However, I am NOT defeated and have lots to live for - so thats what I am doing.
I haven't worked since November but do plan to get back after radiotherapy in the meantime, I look forwrad to getting out (with a chaperone) with my camera.
Thats all for now folks x

Just because no one understands me that doesn't make me an artist...
